Global PV capacity is expected to reach at least 52 GW by the end of 2015, up from around 45 GW last year, according to estimates by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF).

In the MENA region, PV capacity is forecast to grow 66% by 2019 to almost 3 GW, with power demand forecast to grow 6% per year over the same period.
