Management of Pasture Land

Pasture land in many parts of the world is turning into desert. Much could be reversed by using better land management.

Land management to build the quality of soils can play a large part in using the rain that falls to the best advantage. It also captures atmospheric carbon more quickly and effectively than any other method. Holistic Management has experience of this over 50 years particularly in Africa, USA and Australia. Their principles are illustrated in a new PowerPoint presentation at http://www.kachana.com/07TL_SCCPPP_En_files/fullscreen.htm

A left click on each page will present the next page. Broadband recommended.

Otherwise have a look at their web site at www.holisticmanagement.org

It's great to see them focused on climate change problems as they have much to offer.
