Aquahol Eco Car Fuel

Page history last edited by PBworks 16 years, 10 months ago

AQUAHOL

AQUAHOL is an automotive fuel process in which precisely-measured amounts of H2O are injected into an alcohol-powered combustion engine. AQUAGAS is a very similar fuel process, but refers to an engine running on gasoline or gasohol. Both AQUAHOL and AQUAGAS fuel processes are made possible by the exact same device, the low-cost high-efficiency TECTANE H2O Injector (which can be added to most cars and trucks as an after-market installation by a certified mechanic, or installed OEM prior to the sale of new cars).

So why has such a clean technology not been adopted yet by the car companies? There have been many reasons over the years... market pressures, inertia, lack of emissions laws, lobbying by special interest groups, etc. But that is all history. With the alarming rise of global warming, nations must be made aware that an efficient solution to both emission control and fuel supply is already available.

There are over 400 million motor vehicles on the road worldwide, and something EFFECTIVE has to be done immediately about the emissions coming from all of those engines, every hour of every day. We cannot wait for all of the cars and trucks in the world to be replaced by fuel-cell-powered vehicles, a process which could take 20 to 30 years. The H2O Injector is a real solution with real results, and it is available for widespread installation on vehicles at the national level.

Clean vs. Polluting Fuels

The United Nations Environmental Fact Sheet #25 states that the burning of fossil fuels is the highest contributor of CO2 emissions. Ethanol fuels contain 35% oxygen and are much cleaner burning than gasoline fuels. Furthermore, ethanol is a renewable resource.

AQUAHOL (created by combining ethanol and water using the TECTANE Injector) is the CLEANEST fuel. Ethanol contains 35% oxygen and H2O contains 89% oxygen (by molecular weight) thereby making AQUAHOL the cleanest-burning choice.

The revolutionary H2O Injector is an inexpensive add-on device (for cars with combustion engines) which reduces emissions and increases mileage, and can even allow regular cars to run on 75-octane gasoline or ethanol fuels.

The H2O Injector can be installed on many conventional engines, and uses a special TECTANE formula to protect alcohol-sensitive engine components. The complete system costs $500 USD fully installed (averaging 2-3 hours to install on most cars).

AQUAHOL is the separate injection of 80% ethanol and 20% water (H2O). Since water contains 89% oxygen (by molecular weight) and ethanol contains 35% oxygen, complete effective combustion occurs. AQUAHOL is classified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as being 800% more efficient than gasohol, which is a blend of 90% gasoline and 10% ethanol (currently mandated by U.S. law and also adopted worldwide).

The added oxygen provides for better combustion, and therefore fewer emissions (such as carbon monoxide and NOx). It also continuously "steam-cleans" the engine, increasing its lifespan.

Tests conducted by the S.A.E., the E.P.A. (California), the Hollywood (Florida) Police Department, Pepsi-Cola, Marriott Hotels, CarQuest and others have all reported savings on mileage ranging from:

E.P.A. - 25%

S.A.E. - 40%

Marriott - 40%

Police - 40%
